On a side note...
Went to GACC 2007 in MMU Melaka last weekened. A 2 day event in the MMU Melaka Campus. It was so cool! My only disappointment is that there's not enough doujin artists. Found only 2-3 booths selling doujin out of 6 or 7 booths there. I did buy an original doujin made by a trio of girls. Their stories and art needs a lot more work but they put their hearts into it and completed it so, that's an accomplishment.
There was a Character Design Competition which I joined in the first day, though didn't make it beyond the preliminaries. A friend of mine got 3rd though when they announced the winners on Sunday. Then, there's the Cosplay Competition (Individual and Group), PS2 Fighting Game Competition as well as Magic: The Gathering (no-wing got 2nd place, SHOCKING!). To top it off, Mr. Furuya Tohru, a seiyuu from Japan (AN ACTUAL SEIYUU CAME TO MALACCA!) came by on the 2nd day. Gave autographs, had an interview and became the judge for the Group Cosplay Competition.
Here's some videos of some interesting things during the event (not taken by me).

No Updates for Awhile
Yes, I'm late.
No, there's no new updates for now (well, except for this).
No, I'm not being lazy.
More like I'm being busy.
I'm working on a doujin (self published mangas) for this year's Comic Fiesta which will be held in December. I had the story up and ready. Now I need to draw and tone them.
Since this is my first doujin, it's taking me quite some time to get the hang of things. I'm learning a lot along the way, such as camera angles, how to emphasize the character's pressence, etc. Learning a lot from using Akamatsu Ken (Negima) and Eiichiro Oda's (One Piece) works. Google Sketchup helps too, and the models on Google Earth helped me to get my camera angles right (I hope).
My first doujin, so I'm doing a story about something which I'm familiar with. Arkh's adventures shortly after the end of the Destinies of the Elements Campaign (which I have yet to finish in the webcomic form in the first place... <_<).

08 - The Journals of Gaylord Humpwarden
Day 400
Ahhhh... what a beautiful morning it was.
I heard from some locals that last night, they were doing some heavy partying...
no one invited me. I think that's why it's quite quiet this morning, with all those hangovers.
Some nice officers from the town guards managed to find Jack too. They said something about him and an old lady... wasn't paying attention much, though. Was in a hurry to get to the Mayor's office.

08 - Destinies of Elements Omake 008
by ~hreaper on deviantART
Yay, finally! An update!
In the campaign, Arkh brought Kaede up to his room in Tenshiron's Tavern and left him there where Kaede had a premonition of danger in a dream.
All that we know is that in the dream, he is surrounded by bright white light. :)
All the previous Destinies of Elements series can be found here.
If you can't access Deviantart due to slow internet speed, you can directly download the file here.
